Things are heating up. Not only is the sun shining but the weekly class competition is very close. The scores after today’s games and activities are: Lennon’s 21, Starr’s 21 and McCartney’s 20.
Today we practiced mini conversations using lots of informal and natural English expressions. By the end everybody was knackered! We also prepared and rehearsed questions for tomorrow’s trip to the Loch Inn, where the students will be interviewing the owner as past of their documentary with the Movie Makers.
The final part of the class was again focused in the Olympic Games. We watched a selection of famous moments from past olympics and discussed which we thought were more memorable and why. The girls liked Nadia Comaneci’s perfect 10 the best, whereas the boys were amazed by the story of Eric the Eel, who had only learnt to swim 6 moths before the Olympics.
