We started today by looking back at grammar for explaining rules and obligations from yesterday – have to, must, can and should. Everyone explained some of the rules of their houses – how much they have to help their parents, and wake up times and bed times.
Then we looked at some vocabulary for serious crimes. The girls in particular were really interested to learn words to explain things like arson, murder and burglary. We discussed situations we know of where these crimes happened.
After the break, we worked long and hard on our projects. The rules of Basegolf are now completely designed, and the presentation looks good. Ponyball, the girls’ fusion sport, only needs the rules of horse riding to be completed. Tomorrow at 9.30am, our class will present their sports to the other groups!
